The realtor you chose is an important decision. He will be your advocate...confidant...advisor. He knows the current market and can help you find the various resources you will need throughout the process.

He will be with you every step of the way!!!

Pre-qualification

Your lender does a quick financial analysis to determine what you qualify for in a mortgage. This makes the home search more efficient by directing you to those properties you can afford.

Finding Your Home

Your agent will take you on property tours so that you can look at the homes that meet your requirements. In addition, automated searches will keep you informed when new homes come on the market.

Offer and Contract

When you are ready to make an offer, your agent will help you determine what to offer based on recent comparable sales. He will also write and present your offer as well as negotiate with the sellers agent until terms are agreed upon and signed by both you and the seller.

Contract to Close/Option Period

When the house goes under contract you can conduct an inspection and based on the results renegotiate with the seller. This is done during the Option Period, and you will either go through with the purchase or terminate the contract. If proceeding, an appraisal will be done and you will select your Home Warranty, Insurance, and finalize your loan.

Closing

In this step you will sign the mortgage documents and all necessary paperwork. Your mortgage company will fund the transaction and you will take possession of the home.

Ongoing Resource

After the transaction is complete I will be your ongoing real estate resource which may include giving advice on remodeling, giving periodic updates on the market value of your property, help find you resources for repairs, and help your friends and family with their real estate needs.
